About us

The people behind Assembly

We are a multidisciplinary team that brings together many years of expertise from across child development, mental health, education, and neurodiversity. We've worked in NHS services, schools, research and educational institutions.

What unites us is a shared commitment to making high-quality support accessible to every family, regardless of their circumstances or location.

Our mission

We're committed to closing the gap between when families first notice concerns and when they receive meaningful help. By empowering parents with expert guidance and practical tools, we help children thrive during critical developmental years.

Our approach is rooted in the belief that parents are experts on their own children, and that with the right support, they can be powerful agents of change.

How we're different

Research shows that involving parents in skill-building leads to better outcomes for children. So instead of starting with a referral, a waiting list, or one-off appointments, Assembly starts with you, the person who knows your child best.

Parents lead the change

Traditional services work directly with the child, in a clinic, when a slot finally opens. We work directly with parents, practical strategies and techniques you can use at home, where change truly begins.

Understanding comes first

Everything starts with a free profile of your child's strengths and needs across eight clinical dimensions. No diagnosis, no referral, and no waiting list needed.

A picture you can share

Your child's profile becomes a clear, shareable report for teachers, SENCOs and GPs, so everyone around your child works from the same understanding.

Ayse Tanyeri, founder of Assembly

“Assembly exists to provide parents with expert support so they can make informed decisions and help their children thrive”

Ayse Tanyeri, Founder

Why I started Assembly

Assembly started from a deeply personal place of trying to get some answers and support for my son during Covid lockdowns. I wasn't sure whether I should seek help and I kept doing research, asking Dr. Google, asking around. There were times when I felt helpless, lost and even guilty. The right course of action was never obvious.

I quickly realised there were many worried families going through a similar experience, albeit at different parts of the journey: trying to decide whether they should be seeking help, wondering whether they can do more while on wait lists, or after being told their child's symptoms aren't severe enough for help.

As parents and caregivers, we'd do anything for our children but we need to know what that is. Unfortunately, the overstretched system isn't designed to empower us. Assembly exists to provide parents with expert support so they can make informed decisions and help their children thrive.

No matter where you are on your journey of supporting your child's development, this platform is designed for you by experts who have already helped countless parents looking for answers.
