For schools and SENCOs

When a parent is worried, start with a clear picture.

Assembly helps you work with parents at the very start of their journey. A parent raises a concern, you point them to Assembly, and they build a structured profile of their child's strengths and needs, so you get a clear picture instead of a corridor conversation.

The start of the journey is the hardest part to capture

Concerns arrive as corridor conversations and hurried emails, easy to miss, hard to act on.

Parents come to you worried, but everything they know about their child has never been written down in a structured way.

Home and school can see two different children, with no shared picture to compare.

Evidence for SEND support takes time to gather, time that pushes help further away.

The parent already holds most of the picture. Assembly helps you capture it.

How it works with Assembly

  1. A parent raises a concern

Instead of a quick chat that goes nowhere, you have somewhere to point them: invite the parent to build their child's Assembly profile.

  2. The parent builds the profile at home

They answer questions about their child's behaviour, development and daily life. It's free to start and takes about 20 minutes to get going.

  3. You get a structured picture

Strengths and needs mapped across eight clinical dimensions, in a clear report the parent can share with you, a shared language for the conversation that follows.

  4. Plan support together

Use the profile to inform SEND and pastoral provision, structure review conversations, and back up referrals with real detail.

What your school gets

A structured profile for every concern

Each worry a parent raises becomes a clear, comparable picture of the child's strengths and needs, captured at the start, not reconstructed later.

A stronger home–school partnership

A shared language for understanding a child's strengths and needs, improving collaboration between school and home.

Direct support for families

Parents get practical, clinician-designed strategies to use at home, easing the pressure on school resources.

Evidence for next steps

A report you can bring to SEND planning, transition conversations and referrals.

The full 360° view

We're building a complete picture of each child that brings together parent, teacher and health-professional perspectives, so support can be more targeted and arrive faster. This isn't live yet: we're developing it now, and we'd love schools to help shape it.
